FRAMES4
These are systems used to monitor and capture footage of locations such as homes, businesses, warehouses, and shops, with the capability to record video and review it when needed. The system can be tailored to suit the size of the premises and the required level of security.
01
There is no single type that is best for every location. The choice depends on the site area, required image quality, lighting, distance, storage, and the nature of the application. Options include Analog HD systems—such as CVI and TVI—and IP systems that operate over a network.
02
IP cameras transmit video over data networks, offering greater flexibility in scalability and management, as well as superior image clarity. In contrast, Analog HD systems typically rely on video cables connected to a DVR or XVR; they are more cost-effective, particularly for smaller locations. Therefore, the choice of the right system depends on the infrastructure and the specific needs of the project.
03
The distance varies depending on the lens, camera resolution, sensor size, lighting conditions, and night-vision technology, as well as whether the objective is merely to detect motion or to clearly identify facial features and license plates. Therefore, a single distance cannot be specified for all cameras; the lens and model must be selected based on the specific area requiring coverage.
