The Dahua DH-XVR1B04-I is a compact 4-channel WizSense Penta-brid XVR designed for flexible surveillance systems. It supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS, and IP cameras, while Dahua's WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection to help reduce false alarms. The recorder also supports AI Coding and Smart H.265+ compression for more efficient storage and bandwidth usage.

4-Channel Penta-brid Support

The XVR provides 4 BNC analog camera inputs with support for HDCVI, AHD, TVI, and CVBS cameras.

It can also support up to 5 IP camera channels, with each IP channel supporting up to 2MP and total incoming bandwidth of up to 20Mbps.

WizSense AI Human & Vehicle Detection

The recorder features 4-channel SMD Plus, using intelligent filtering to help distinguish humans and vehicles from irrelevant motion caused by factors such as rain, leaves, or changing lighting conditions.

This helps provide more targeted security alerts and makes event searching easier.

AI Coding Technology

The DH-XVR1B04-I supports 4-channel AI Coding, helping reduce storage and bandwidth requirements while maintaining important details in recorded footage.

It also supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, and H.264 video compression.

1080N / 720P Recording

For analog cameras, the recorder supports encoding up to 1080N/720P. Depending on the camera technology and selected resolution, supported frame rates can reach 25/30fps.

IP Camera Expansion

The recorder supports up to 5 IP camera channels: one IP channel is available by default, while additional channels can be added by converting analog channels to IP channels.

When IP extension is enabled beyond the original IP channel, the SMD AI function is disabled, so this should be considered when planning the system configuration.

HDMI and VGA Outputs

The XVR provides both HDMI and VGA outputs, supporting display resolutions including 1920 × 1080, 1280 × 1024, and 1280 × 720.

This allows the recorder to connect directly to a compatible monitor or TV for live viewing and playback.

Hard Drive Support up to 6TB

The standard DH-XVR1B04-I includes one SATA storage interface supporting a hard drive of up to 6TB.

Storage duration depends on camera resolution, bitrate, recording schedule, and other system settings.

Two-Way Audio

The recorder supports two-way talk and provides RCA audio input and output, along with support for audio over compatible coaxial connections.

ONVIF and Network Connectivity
