8-Channel Penta-brid XVR

The DH-XVR1B08-I provides 8 BNC analog video inputs with automatic support for HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS cameras.

This Penta-brid design gives installers greater flexibility when building or upgrading a CCTV system.

It is particularly useful when an existing installation already uses coaxial cameras but the customer wants to introduce newer technologies without replacing the entire recorder immediately.

Supports Up to 10 IP Cameras

The recorder can support up to 10 IP camera inputs, with each IP channel supporting cameras up to 6MP.

The standard configuration provides 2 IP channels, with additional IP channels available through IP extension by converting analog channels to IP channels. The recorder provides up to 40 Mbps incoming bandwidth.

Important for customers: enabling IP extension changes the available analog/IP configuration and can disable the recorder's SMD function according to Dahua's specifications.

WizSense AI & SMD Plus

The DH-XVR1B08-I uses Dahua WizSense technology and supports SMD Plus.

On the documented hardware version 2.0, SMD Plus provides 4 analog channels with secondary filtering for human and vehicle targets. This can help reduce false alarms caused by environmental movement such as leaves, rain and changing lighting conditions.
