ZKTeco MB20-VL: Modern Biometric Verification for Employee Attendance

The MB20-VL is designed for workplaces that want a more convenient way to verify employee identity. Its visible-light facial recognition technology can detect a face at a distance of approximately 30–50 cm and automatically initiate recognition, reducing the need for employees to touch the terminal during face verification.

Facial Recognition with Fingerprint Verification

Alongside facial identification, the MB20-VL supports fingerprint authentication. This combination gives businesses flexibility when setting up attendance procedures for different employees and working environments.

The facial recognition speed is specified at up to one second under supported conditions. Deep-learning technology improves recognition performance across different facial poses and helps strengthen resistance to presentation attacks.

Attendance Records and Connectivity

A 2.8-inch TFT screen displays information during operation. The terminal supports TCP/IP networking and USB Host for data transfer, while its SSR reporting function helps administrators prepare attendance records. Wi-Fi and certain card options are available only on compatible configurations.
